What exactly does “make yourself at home” mean? After all everyone is different and no two homes are the same. For some, home is the place they’ve known their whole lives, while for others, home is strictly a feeling. I don’t think there is a right or wrong answer but I definitely believe it is personal and experienced base.

As the orphan may only have a dream of what home would mean for them, a military family may not see their address as defining their home but rather who they do life with. For the family that has lost their physical home due to a tragedy – still have home within their hearts. For many it’s a smell, a feeling, a sense of security.

So when I say “Kick Back, Relax & Make Yourself At Home!” I mean, my virtual door is always open. You can check out my social media pages, take a peek into my corner of the world, get decorating, entertaining and just fun ideas to make wherever you are in this life, your home.

I think home is really a state of mind & it really is wherever our heart feels welcomed! You are always welcomed at Buttercups & Biscuits. I know it’s just a website but I promise you it is ran by the girl next door, just chasing happiness & hoping to make friends along the way. Together we can make our homes as sweet as the tea we drink in the South & our hearts as warm as the biscuits coming out of the oven… there is always a seat at my table ~ Welcome Friend!
